Adakah kita membaca Surah Yasin terlalu cepat?

I just realised something whenever kitani bertahlil ramai2 membaca Yasin baru ku realise that kitani membaca dengan laju bah. I used to think dulu that siapa laju membaca Yasin kira stedi lah tu. But now i question myself..lurus kah tajwid ku mbaca Yasin ani?

I was like "woah! baru ku tau ni" can't remember the name and author of the book but i found it d bilik surau offshore di Fairley-4.

So yea now that i've mentioned it, what do you think? What i did i didn't recite Yasin with the crowds i actually membaca seorang. I was the last person to finish because i followed the tajiwid carefully especially bacaan panjang dan pendeknya. That's all for now

  2. Salam,

I have experienced this, too. What I did was to read mostly at my own pace. As a result i could never be able to catch up and would always be further slowed down as I would get confused hearing all others read the verses i'm not reading.. So I usually read a verse, then stop and listen to where the others were currently, then join them at the next ayah at my pace, and so on..

But since not so long ago, I wonder if there should be this kind of gathering at all in the first place u know what i mean?

Btw, I learned the ayah Al-A’raaf 7:204 from a prayer course I attended, and applied it. Shouldn't this be applicable to this as well?

  3. Assalamualaikum akhi,

Did the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) and the four rightly guided khalifah recited yasin in congregation? Or is this something created after the generation of our beloved Prophet Muhammad? Is there hadith on this? JazakAllahu khaira akhi. Btw, been waiting for a new post on your blog.

    Salam.

Daily Hadith - Supplicating for Deceased

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "When An-Najashi died, the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, 'Pray for forgiveness for him.'" [Jami At-Tirmidhi - sahih hadith]

We learn here that on being informed about someone's death with the utterance of "we belong to Allah/ inna lillah", one should also supplicate for his/her forgiveness, so that Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) may forgive us as well.
